Music Ministry

The bible calls us to sing and make music for the praise of our lord... (ps 150).Welcome to the music ministry of sukari deliverance church. This ministry to create a forum for any believer to learn, grow, and develop their musical gifting, interests, and/or talents, interests, and/or talents for God’s glory and be an integral part of worship.

Oppotunities

Singing in the praise team, choir and church band.
NB: Though the praise team and the choir almost encompass the same roles, that is, singing, playing instruments etc, the former requires more commitment in terms of time and resources than the latter. Instrumentations: This department is arranged by a team of church instrumentalists under the leaderships of Mike Wesonga, all persons interested in playing or learning are required to be members of the church.

Prerequisites:

The above opportunities have great responsibilities attached to them luke 12:486. A high level of commitment and dedication is required of every person serving under this ministry. The following are the requirements of every person willing to join;

  •        oMust be born again and a Christian for over at least 1 year.
  •        o Is over 18 and above
  •        o Is a member of kahawa Deliverance church for atleast 6 months and have gone through membership class.
  •        o Punctuality
  •        o Humility
  •        o Respect for one another
  •        o Confidence

Join A Ladies Prayer Group: We have seven prayer groups that cover the whole of Kahawa Sukari and stretch to Wendani and Kenyatta University. Choose to be a member of one! Regular Meetings

  • Practice Session

    The choir meets every Saturday from 3-5pm in the church premises. The practice session is divided into two parts;

    a) Worship and prayer hour

    b) Rehearsals hour
